Hakkai Namasoba Miyanoya
A century-old soba restaurant at the trailhead of the sacred Mt. Hakkaisan. Uses hand-rolled soba made from local Uonuma 'Horinouchi Zairaishi' buckwheat flour bound with funori and mountain burdock in a recipe passed down through generations. Featured in the Michelin Guide and selected for Tabelog Soba EAST 100 Best 2025. Reservations accepted by phone only 9-11 AM or 3-6 PM. A must-visit with inevitable queues.
