Sohonke Mehariya Shingu Honten
Founded in 1962, the original home of Mehari Sushi, a Nanki Shingu local specialty. Mehari sushi is a traditional Kumano-area dish: a rice ball wrapped in seasoned takana leaf. Made fresh to order — served warm. Relocated to a new distinctive circular building in 2018. Teishoku, kushiage, and oden also served. Takeout available.
