The star dish is shirasu rice bowl using fresh whitebait delivered daily from Koshigoe fishing port. Not available during the no-fishing season (Jan-mid Mar). Selected as Japan Food Top 100 (2021). The combo set 'Kamakura Zukushi' with vegetable tempura is particularly popular.

Many reviews say 'fresh raw shirasu is something only available here' and 'I always stop by every time I visit Kamakura.' The pairing with Kamakura vegetable tempura is excellent. Raw shirasu often sells out, so early arrival is recommended.
