Kanoya City is known as the 'Osumi Unagi Kaido' (eel highway), and this is one of the locals' long-loved spots. There is about a 30-minute wait as the eel is grilled after ordering—proof that it's freshly grilled. Satsuma local chicken dishes are also available.
