Miyoya
An Okinawa soba specialty shop in a residential area near Kadena Air Base, featuring house-made noodles and handcrafted soup. Opened February 2009. The owner trained at popular soba restaurants in Yomitan and Onna, creating a light soup from Rausu kombu and Makurazaki-produced bonito flakes paired with two types of house-made noodles. All ingredients are handmade. Local families with children and regular customers crowd the restaurant during peak lunch hours. The sea soba (sea grapes and wakame) is especially popular. Google Maps 4.1/200+ reviews, Tabelog 83 reviews. Takeout available.
