Udonya Kamakiri
A celebrated sanuki udon shop in Kanonji City with a cafe-like exterior but authentic flavors inside. Famous for thick, firm noodles with refined iriko (dried sardine) broth. Selected as Tabelog Udon 100 Best in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, and 2024 — five times total. The limited 15-serving-per-day meat bukkake udon always sells out early.
Many visitors are surprised by the cafe-like exterior. Reviews rave about the thick noodles' firmness and flavor. Since it closes when noodles run out, early arrival is essential.
