Kamameshi Hatsune
An 80-year-old establishment. Supremely located just a few minutes from Murozu Port, using fish landed just hours earlier. The 3rd-generation owner insists on rice from Sakihama, Muroto City, and kamameshi cooked in broth from kombu and two types of katsuobushi. 'They cook each order to order, so you wait 15-20 minutes—but it's worth every minute,' reviewers say. One of the founding restaurants of Muroto Kinme-don.
Reviews say 'the kamameshi exceeded my expectations,' 'they cook to order so you wait 15 minutes—but that means you get fresh-from-the-rice-cooker flavor,' and 'you can feel the 3rd owner's passion for the rice.' Yahoo! Maps 4.22 (11 reviews). Also featured in Shikoku Bank's PR magazine. High historical value as one of the founding Muroto Kinme-don restaurants. 2025 visit reviews confirmed.
