Tonkichi (Special Tonkotsu Ramen)
A legendary tonkotsu ramen shop in Fukuchiyama, founded in 1987. Dine-in is limited to 30 servings per day on weekdays only (Tue–Fri lunch). Tickets distributed from 9:30 AM; 20+ people queue before opening even on weekdays. The thick, creamy tonkotsu soup — maxing out the umami of pork bones — is said to 'surpass Tenkaippin.' Has fans across Japan. Takeout and mail-order also popular. Tabelog 3.52 (241 reviews).
