Founded in 1928 (Showa 3). A standing soba restaurant operating on the JR Abiko Station platform, where the 'karaage soba' has become a nationally famous specialty. Sells an average of 1,300–1,500 pieces of fried chicken per day. The bowl topped with a jumbo karaage draws fans who 'get off at Abiko Station just for this.' A historic establishment where artist Yamashita Kiyoshi worked from 1942 to 1947.
