Hourenso
A long-established ramen shop that has continued for over 35 years along National Route 176 in the suburbs, founded in 1988. Famous for its white chicken paitan soup made by slow-cooking chicken feet and carcasses for half a day. Unchanging taste carried on by the second-generation owner. Yahoo Maps 3.9/97, Tabelog 3.51/390. Authentic local ramen loved by Yamaguchi-cho residents. Temporarily closed June–September 2024 due to owner's medical treatment; reopened December 2024.
Reviews: 'Addictive rich soup', 'Authentic taste that locals keep coming back to', 'If you want old-school ramen, this is the place'. Tabelog 390 reviews is remarkable for a suburban location. Many repeat posts from regulars confirmed. Continued reviews after December 2024 reopening confirmed.
