Yuyu (Hiruzen Yakisoba)
The pioneer who first branded Hiruzen Yakisoba. Founded 2002. Known for thick noodles with local chicken, cabbage, and onions in a rich miso sauce. In summer, waits can reach 3 hours. The fried chicken won gold at the Karaage Grand Prix.
Locals strongly recommend it as a must-visit in Hiruzen. Lines form before opening on weekends. Up to 3-hour waits in peak season. The fried chicken is also excellent, and the yakisoba-karaage combo is standard. Tabelog 3.48/305 reviews. TripAdvisor #1 of 97 in Maniwa.
