Since 1974, Yoshimuraya has been the origin of Yokohama ie-kei ramen — the style of rich tonkotsu-and-chicken-broth soup that launched a whole family of direct-lineage shops across Japan.
昭和49年（1974年）創業、横浜家系ラーメンの原点として「総本山」と呼ばれ続ける店だ。
The original holds firm at a single location, and even after relocating in 2023, the line outside never went away: over 1,500 bowls leave the kitchen on a busy day.
豚骨と鶏ガラを長時間炊いたスープは他の追随を許さず、1日に1,500杯以上が出るとも言われる。
Named to the Tabelog Ramen Kanagawa Top 100 in both 2024 and 2025, a bowl costs around 900 yen — and carries more than fifty years of craft in every sip.
