Menya Rurikesu opened in June 2022, founded by a chef who trained for over a decade at the acclaimed Ramen Kai in Kuramae.
The signature broth draws inspiration from keihan, a traditional chicken rice dish from Kagoshima, and is served with your choice of hand-kneaded thick or thin noodles; frequent limited-edition specials keep regulars coming back for more.
The shop claimed third place for best new ramen shop and first place in the soy sauce category at the Tokyo Ramen of the Year awards in its debut year, then earned a spot on the Tabelog Ramen Top 100 in 2025 — all for prices ranging from 1,200 to 1,550 yen.
