Torimatsu
Founded in the early Showa era (1932). Famous for 'barazushi,' the local specialty scattered sushi of the Tango region, made with laboriously cooked mackerel soboro. Featured at Kyoto Station Isetan, Takashimaya, and national events. Locals serve it at every celebration. Renovated in June 2023 with 1F as reservation-based Japanese cuisine/sushi, and new 2F noodle/cafe MATSUTARO.
