Kanesho
A legendary yakiton (grilled pork offal) izakaya near Gotanda Station, founded in 1983. Fresh offal sourced directly from Shibaura Meat Market is grilled over charcoal, and the braised offal stew, built up over decades with perpetual stock, is the other signature dish. So beloved by local office workers that it is featured by the Shinagawa Tourism Association.
Regulars say it's 'the soul of Gotanda,' 'the best braised offal in Tokyo,' and 'I've been coming here for 30 years and I'm never bored.' It fills up shortly after opening — a long-standing institution among local office workers.
