Uchoku
Legendary tsukemen (dipping noodle) shop that achieved a 3.95 Tabelog score and won the 100 Best Restaurants award 3 consecutive years in Ogikubo, reopened in Kichijoji in April 2025. Known for crystal-clear Japanese dashi made from bonito and kombu, and smooth, chewy house-made noodles. Over 150 people lined up on opening day.
Many regulars comment they have been following since the Ogikubo days and waited 3 years for the reopening. The combination of house-made noodles soaked in kombu water and the rich bonito dipping broth receives consistent praise.
