Kishimoto Shokudo
Founded in 1905 (Meiji 38), this is one of the oldest soba shops in Motobu's famous Soba Kaido road with over 120 years of history. Hand-kneaded noodles using traditional wood-ash method give a distinctive texture and aroma. Simple menu: soba (small/large) and jushi only. Locals consistently name it as their favorite Okinawa soba. Closes when sold out, so arrive before noon.
Reviews consistently say: 'The pinnacle of Okinawa soba loved by locals,' 'The wood-ash noodles are outstanding,' 'Long lines on weekends but worth the wait,' 'Simple menu yet never gets old,' 'The original flavors have been preserved.' A beloved spot for both locals and visitors.
