Shioyu
A facility combining a natural seawater bath and dining on the Kamiura Peninsula of Saiki City, Oita. The signature dish is a seafood rice bowl at 1,320 yen, overflowing with 12 or more types of seafood. It went viral on social media as 'the best seafood bowl in Japan for this price' and was featured on the TV show 'Omouma! Restaurant.' Weekday waits of 1.5-2 hours and weekend waits of 2-3 hours are the norm. Takeout available (aji sushi 8 pieces 500 yen, etc.).
