Menya Magokoro
Opened in March 2018 by a former wagashi confectioner—an unusual background for a ramen chef. A standalone house ramen shop inside the Hidaka Danchi housing complex, a 15-min walk from Musashi-Takahagi Station. The signature 780-yen chuka soba features a delicate, layered broth of oyster, niboshi, and chicken, seasoned with a tare blending three soy sauces including Yugeta Shoyu. Seasonal walnut tsukemen and oyster soba are also popular. Tabelog 3.62/226; Ramen DB 836.
Reviews: 'Elegant and refined—you can sense the delicacy of someone who trained as a wagashi chef.' 'The seasonal walnut tsukemen is unforgettable; I keep coming back for each new limited edition.' 'Despite being in a housing complex in Hidaka, many people come from far away.' Tabelog 3.62/226; Yahoo Maps 4.31/153; Ramen DB 836.
