The only Shikoku restaurant to be selected for Tabelog's Top 100 Unagi restaurants three consecutive years (2019-2021). So popular that a numbered-ticket system is in place, and on the Day of the Ox, people queue from 4-5am. Kyushu-style charcoal grilling yields crispy-outside, fluffy-inside eel. Orders are cooked to order—about 30 minutes wait—yet repeat customers never stop coming. The rice from contract farmers pairs perfectly with the eel.
