A rising star of Hakata tonkotsu ramen, Hakata Issou earned a place on Tabelog's West Japan Ramen Hyakumeiten within just a few years of opening in 2012.
2012年の開業から僅かな年月で食べログ西日本ラーメン百名店に選出された、博多豚骨界の気鋭の存在だ。
Its signature style — a dense, creamy white broth crowned with a swirl of pork fat foam that regulars have taken to calling the tonkotsu cappuccino — was created by a young craftsman who trained at Hakata Ikkosha.
博多一幸舎で修行した若き職人が生み出す「豚骨カプチーノ」と称される脂泡が浮かぶ濃厚でクリーミーなスープは独自スタイルで、この密度と完成度を博多駅東徒歩6分・800〜900円で食べられることが「異常なコスパ」と評される所以だ。
At 800 to 900 yen a bowl just six minutes from Hakata Station, queues can stretch to over 200 people on busy days, and when the soup runs out, the kitchen closes for the night.
