Fake reviews removed

Established in the Meiji era, the originator of Omura's regional specialty 'Omura Kakuzushi' pressed sushi. The 5th generation continues this tradition. This pressed sushi features kanpyo, burdock, kamaboko, and narazuke sandwiched between rice, topped generously with fine egg strips, with a mildly sweet vinegared rice. Very popular as a souvenir, also sold at Nagasaki Airport. Spacious 104-seat restaurant.

Many repeaters say 'the original Omura specialty', 'the sweetly simmered fillings have a nostalgic taste', 'the sara udon is also superb'. Yahoo Maps 4.13/45 reviews. Tabelog 123 reviews, 1,976 saves. TripAdvisor 4.1/5 (#8 in Omura). A proven Meiji-era institution.
