Misakiya Yakiniku
Founded in 1959, this long-established yakiniku restaurant is famous for 'botsu-yaki,' a Suzuka specialty using the pork diaphragm (harami) from Matsusaka pigs — only about 300g per pig — marinated in a secret sauce and grilled, priced at just 360 yen. Queues form before opening on weekends. Signed photos from legendary racing drivers decorate the walls. A local treasure loved for over 65 years, also selected as a Suzuka furusato nozei gift.
Regulars rave: 'Best botsu-yaki ever, unbelievable at this price,' 'Weekend waits of 2 hours are normal,' 'Always stop here when in Suzuka.' Yahoo! Maps 4.25 (234 reviews), Tabelog 230 reviews, Retty 41. Even F1 driver Bottas visits every year. A veteran spot that never disappoints.
