What kind of place?
Fake reviews removed

Founded in 1948, this is the oldest standing Shizuoka oden shop in Aoba Yokocho. Black fish cakes (kuro-hanpen) and skewered oden floating in jet-black beef tendon broth represent the original Shizuoka oden style. Mikawaya is said to have popularized the practice of sprinkling aonori (dried green seaweed) and dashi powder on top. This atmospheric counter-only 8-seat spot was also a filming location for a Kirin Beer commercial and continues to be beloved by Shizuoka locals.

'An absolute must when visiting Shizuoka,' 'The unique flavor of black fishcake is addictive,' 'The Showa-era atmosphere is perfect,' 'The owner is friendly — great vibe for drinking alongside local regulars,' 'Skewers from around 100 yen, very affordable.' Praised by both tourists and locals who visit weekly.
