Uchida Ramen
A venerable ramen shop carrying on the lineage of Kurume ramen, founded in 1965. Tracing its roots back to the predecessor 'Koei-ken' (Takamiya, Minami Ward, Fukuoka City), its history spans over 60 years. The current Nagaoka, Chikushino location opened after relocating from Nakagawa, with a roadside format offering 18 parking spaces. Lines form before opening, and it closes around 2 PM when the soup runs out — a true sold-out system. The distinctively rich, heavy tonkotsu soup of Kurume ramen paired with generously portioned homemade chashu is outstanding. Tabelog 3.48 (170 reviews), Yahoo! Maps 4.13 (83 reviews).

The authentic feel of 'lines before opening' and 'closes when soup runs out' resonates deeply with locals. Champon noodles also praised. Introduced as 'the pride of Chikushino' by local welfare organizations and multiple local media.
