Founded in 1997 by Akitoshi Igarashi, eldest son of the owner of Kikuya Honten, a long-established Musashino udon restaurant in Higashimurayama — he opened this shop in Tokorozawa to put Musashino udon on the map here. The dough is made fresh every morning and used the same day, with absolutely no additives, in the honest sold-out-when-gone style.
