Tsubameya Yanagase Honten
Founded 2010, relocated to its current spot in front of the Yanagase bus stop in 2020. This is Gifu's representative wagashi shop. The signature 'Tsubame Warabi' pure warabi mochi—made from Gifu-grown bracken starch and dusted generously with deep-roasted kinako—melts in your mouth. Selected as 'Tabelog Wagashi & Sweets EAST Top 100 2023.' Now has stores in Nagoya and Tokyo's Nihonbashi, but the 2010 Gifu Yanagase original is the birthplace.
