Tenten Yu
5 minutes walk from Suminoe-koen Station. Founded in 1982. Independently opened by the brother of the founder of the famous Ichijoji 'Tenten Yu' in Kyoto — a completely separate restaurant. Now in its third generation. Known for an addictive ramen combining classic chicken broth with homemade nira kimchi. Only open 3 days a week, yet local regulars never stop coming.
Many return for the nostalgic taste inherited from the previous generation. The homemade nira kimchi enhances the ramen's umami. Some note a subtle taste change after the ownership change, but reviews as recent as February 2026 confirm regulars continue to visit faithfully.
