Hakuryuken Ramen
A legendary ramen shop founded in 1952, considered a forefather of Hakata ramen. Located in Maidashi shopping arcade, 11-counter-seat institution (max 14). Features rich yet clean tonkotsu broth and housemade flat noodles. Currently run by 3rd and 4th generation (siblings). 3 min from Maidashi-Kyudaibyoinmae Station.
Locals praise it as 'the source of Hakata ramen' with 'an unchanged taste since 1952.' Operating confirmed in January 2026. 3rd and 4th generation siblings continue the tradition.
