Miyoshi Udon
A Sanuki udon shop run by an udon craftsman, relocated to Takase-cho, Mitoyo City in 2015. Committed to the traditional method of hand-kneading, hand-rolling, and foot-kneading without machinery—producing thick, chewy noodles with high moisture content. A log-cabin style exterior and handcrafted acorn-dyed bowls make for a memorable atmosphere. Selected for Tabelog Udon KAGAWA 100 Best 2024. Lunch only, closes when sold out.
High praise across multiple media and Retty: 'the chewy thick noodles can only be found here,' 'so embedded in the local community that city hall workers come for lunch,' and 'came with family and everyone was satisfied.' Tabelog 3.80/485 reviews, Yahoo! Maps 4.44, selected for 100 Best 2024.
