Kushimoto Shunsai Ohashi
A seafood restaurant near the fishing port in Kushimoto, the southernmost tip of Honshu. The owner, a self-described 'passionate angler,' personally visits the harbor and fish markets to source only the finest local fish of the day. Daily handwritten menus feature rare finds like seared grouper skin and abalone squid, impossible to find in the city. Lunch on weekends and holidays only.
