Kokoro Atatamaru Udon Utsuwa
A hand-made udon restaurant in a residential area of Kaizuka City, Osaka. Features Sanuki-style chewy noodles (goumen) and crispy freshly-fried tempura. Selected as one of the West Japan Udon 100 Best Restaurants on Tabelog in 2024. Only 14 seats but lines form before opening. The owner's warm hospitality keeps regulars coming back.
Regulars say 'the springy chewy noodles are addictive,' 'freshly-fried tempura is excellent,' and 'always full before opening.' The owner is friendly and welcoming. Selected for West Japan Udon Top 100 in 2024. Butter Shrimp Mochi Kamatama is especially popular.
