Chukasoba Hirakoya
A sacred destination for niboshi (dried sardine) ramen in Aomori City's Shinjo district. Known for handmade noodles and intensely flavorful dried sardine broth. Selected for Tabelog's Top 100 Ramen 2024. Opens at 8am, creating queues of devoted locals and visitors from across Japan. Closes when noodles run out. Reopened January 24, 2026 after temporary closure.
